Coffee Tastings

Learning to Taste: Discover the aromas, the fragrance, and flavors of coffee.

Invite your family or friends and book your own private session where you will learn about the history of coffee, the origins of the high quality beans that we use in our coffee, and how to differentiate between roast profiles and taste notes

this private session is facilitated by Our master roaster at our micro roastery in o’Bryonville, Cincinnati, OH. the session includes:

  • 1.5 - 2.0 hour blind coffee tasting session facilitated by our master roaster

  • Detailed explanation on the history of coffee in the world and the origins of Viva Coffee Roasters beans

  • 5 coffee tasting samples for each guest

  • Explanation of roast profiles and flavor notes for all samples

  • We will provide all the equipment needed for the tasting session. Just be ready to have a great time!

  • Max number of guests: 6

  • Location: Private Room reservation (Mayan Room) at Viva Coffee Roasters

POUR OVER Demonstrations

Learning to BREW: INTERESTED IN LEARNING “METODOS” for BREWING? Join us on this fun journey and learn how to make pour overs using the v60 or chemex methods

this private session is facilitated by Our master roaster or lead baristas at our micro roastery in o’Bryonville, Cincinnati, OH. the session includes:

  • 1.5 - 2.0 Pour Over Demonstration session using the V60 and Chemex methods

  • Understanding Flavor and Body profiles between different Pour Over Methods

  • Detailed explanation on the history of coffee in the world and the origins of Viva Coffee Roasters beans

  • Explanation of roast profiles and flavor notes for all samples used

ROAST your OWN COFFEE

WANT TO ROAST YOUR OWN SMALL BATCH COFFEE WITH OUR MASTER ROASTER?.

this private session is facilitated by Our master roaster at our micro roastery in o’Bryonville, Cincinnati, OH. the session includes:

  • 2 hour Roasting experience that includes:

    • History and overview of coffee in the world

    • Origins of Viva Coffee Roasters beans

    • Viva’s approach to direct trade and intentional sourcing

    • Overview of the roasting process and operation and Roasting 101

    • Roast along with our Master Roaster

      • Watch and learn from our Master Roaster for the 1st run

      • Run your own Roast supervised by our Master Roaster, select your beans and brand, and roast along.

      • Take home your own roasted batch (1 lb.) !

  • Max number of guests: 2
